A mixed-use commercial block whose facade performs as a climate device. Vertical stone fins rotate incrementally across the elevation, tuned to the sun's path across the working day.
Challenge
A fully glazed brief on a site with extreme summer temperatures and a strict envelope budget.
Solution
Precast stone fins replaced expensive high-performance glass, cutting cooling load and giving the building a distinct civic presence.
